Day Release - Finders Keepers Brisbane

I had a day off on Saturday so, of course, popped in to Brisbane for the Finders Keepers Market.
For those of you who haven't heard about Finders Keepers before, it is the biggest and best quality handmade market around. It features not only the fairest artisans and designers in the state but also attracts makers from interstate.
It was so lovely to see all the handmade goodness, massive ingenuity and original ideas (no chance of 15 stalls selling the same badly made items here). I spent some money, I'll admit. It's my favourite market to buy handmade at and seeing as it only happens twice a year I have been saving my pennies.
It was jam packed with people, and why not?! Who wouldn't want to take in all the quality handmade stalls, cool music in the sunshine and a magnificent location like the Old Museum?

I met my friend Bel, played a spot of hipster bingo, chatted with the ladies from BrisStyle, a came across an old friend...it seems that anyone who was anyone in the handmade world was there!! Quite the place for some handmade celebrity spotting. I also had the chance to visit some of our Craftisans who had stands there...took some photos of the talented folk too.

Amanda and Colin from Hungry Designs ( the cutest couple in handmade we know!)

Melanie from Kimono Reincarnate

Holly from Pannikin & Woolen Blanket Club

Kirsten from Each to Own

As you can see it was pretty hard to get photos of some stalls even though I got there as soon as the doors opened. There were people shoulder to shoulder at every stall.
Such a nice day...make sure you check out the next one!

Here is their website to make sure you don't miss out... finders keepers
