Christmas (and new years) workshops...

Leading up to Christmas we're running a few workshops:

At Cultiver, Kyla will be hosting Gift Wrapping Workshops. BYO three small presents and she'll teach you some simple and creative ways to wrap your presents using new,  recycled and UPcycled materials.


And in conjunction with Ipswich City Council's Kids Go Wild program we are hosting two free workshop series - Happy Handmade Christmas - UPcycled Christmas Gift Workshops and UPcycle, personalise and organise - Back to School Workshops. Here's all the details:


CHRISTMAS GIFT workshops 

Transform everyday objects, old toys and discarded paper into all manner of fun and quirky presents for someone special this Christmas. Each workshop will conclude with gift-wrapping so freshly made pressies can go straight under the tree!

Must bring: school exercise books


Students can start the school year with their very own UPcycled goodies for school and home. Lower primary students will be UPcycling with style, printing a tote bag* with recycled materials for library, sports gear and extra school materials. Plus, students can cover their school exercise books with collages. Upper primary students (Year 5-7), will use recycled materials to help organise their homework space with a pen/pencil holder and inspiration board from discarded materials.
*Fair Trade tote bags supplied.

LOCATION: Queens Park Environmental Education Centre

Please note children are to be supervised at all times. Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to start time for all sessions.
